Painter sorrow

Mix media on canvas 200×150×5 cm 2020 Based on the life of Valentin Zakharchenko, a Ukrainian painter who, years ago, finds himself in a painful and helpless situation. To retrieve the large painting from his old studio, he had to divide it into several pieces and was not even allowed to destroy any part of the old, abandoned building. He had only one option left: the destruction of the work. Then, the last minutes of a picture of him are recorded. By a photographer. But I saw it more in the depth of the picture than the photographer. It is precisely a part of himself and his work. But different and beyond reality.
